At the beginning of the game, a Community Bonus Card is revealed and made available to the table. Each player and the dealer has the option to include the Community Bonus Card when calculating their hand total—or ignore it and play their traditional blackjack hand.

A player must decide whether the Bonus Card improves the hand, while still considering the dealer's cards and the traditional decisions of blackjack.

Why Does the Dealer Hold on 18?

Adding the Community Bonus Card can give players an additional strategic advantage that does not exist in traditional blackjack.

The dealer holds on 18 instead of the traditional 17.
